We, the undersigned, are supporters of Mr. Ju Ji Hoon 주지훈(주영훈)from many differnt parts of the world [or list out the country/place names, depending how the petition will be done.]. We respectfully petition Your Honor to grant the utmost leniency allowable under the law in the case against Mr. Ju for the following reasons:
我們--一群簽署人,是許多來自世界各地的朱智勳先生的支持者[或列出的國家/地名，這將視請願書是如何從中獲得。 ] 。
我們恭敬地請求尊貴的法官您,在法律規定允許的情況下,對朱先生給予最大的從寬處理，理由如下：
1. Mr. Ju is a first-time offender with an otherwise impeccable record. His drug use was limited to one or two isolated incidents more than 14 months ago, when he was drunk and under the inducement of a close friend. Since then, he has been extremely remorseful and absolutely sworn off any illegal substance. He severed his tie with the friend immediately, cooperated fully with the police investigation, and confessed voluntarily to the use in the first instance. We have complete faith that he will not use illegal drugs ever again and will actively advise others not to use any illegal drugs.
1 。朱智勳先生是初犯,也擁有無可挑剔的良好記錄。他的毒品使用次數是有限的，超過14個多月前,以一次或兩次,發生在遙遠時期的事件，是在他喝醉後和被一個親密朋友誘導下才犯下錯誤。
從那時起，他一直非常後悔，也宣誓絕對忠實的遠離任何非法的物質。
他立即切斷了他與朋友的聯系，與警方完全的合作以協助調查，並供認是初次自願使用。
我們完全相信，他將不會再次使用任何非法的毒品,並將積極地提出自己的意見和勸告給予其他人,教導他們不使用任何非法毒品。
2. Mr. Ju is a young man of extremely commendable integrity and honesty. We have observed Mr. Ju over the years and have always been impressed by his sincere and forthright nature. Instead of hiding behind technicalities, Mr. Ju chose to confess to his drug use without any hesitation and with the full knowledge that his hair sample results were negative. Instead of living with a guilty conscience, Mr. Ju chose to face the full consequences of his behavior 14 months ago. These choices are testament to not only his upstanding character but also his resolve to live honestly and responsibly. Mr. Ju is also a young man of exemplary compassion. We have been especially moved by his many charitable activities and donations on behalf of children and his consistent and repeated calls to fans to do the same. As a result of his calls, many fans have performed charitable work for children in honor of Mr. Ju.

2 。朱智勳先生是一個極為可取清正廉明作風的年輕男士。
多年以來,我們觀察了朱智勳先生許久,一直欽佩他的真誠和坦率的性質。而不是技術性的逃避責任，朱智勳先生沒有絲毫遲疑的選擇,並在充分的知道自己的頭髮樣品結果均為陰性的情況下,依然選擇承認他使用毒品。而不是生活在問心有愧和內疚的情況下，朱智勳先生選擇面對14個月前他的行為所造成的全部後果。
這些選擇不僅證明他的正直品格，同時也表示出他決心誠實和負責任的繼續生活下去。朱智勳先生也是一名和藹可親的模範年輕男士。我們一直特別感動，他參與了許多的慈善活動,捐贈了物資於兒童們的同時，他也一貫的一再呼籲他支持者也這樣做。
由於他的呼應，許多支持者在為兒童慈善工作時,是帶著身為朱智勳先生支持者的榮耀去積極參與的。
3. Since the release of his name on April 26, 2009 in connection with large-scale and on-going drug investigations, Mr. Ju has been subjected to extensive media coverage in Korea and in foreign markets where he is well-known and well-liked. Because of his celebrity status, this is to be expected and understandable. However, perhaps because Mr. Ju was the first, and only, high-profile actor to be publicly identified before formal charges were made, we were very dismayed by the many patently sensational and untruthful accounts and rumors linking Mr. Ju to all kinds of drug abuses and club behavior that were under investigation. We understand that, because Mr. Ju accepts his responsibility as a public figure and is deeply remorseful of his drug use, he has chosen to bear the full weight of all the criticisms in silence instead of correcting untrue accusations. However, there is no doubt that these inflammatory or false characterizations of his conduct have not only caused tremendous pain to him as a private citizen and to his family, but also severely and unfairly damaged his reputation and career as an actor domestically and overseas. There is no doubt that Mr. Ju will have to live with these severe punishments for a long time to come.
3 。自從2009年4月26日在大規模和持續的藥物調查中，由於他的名字被公佈,朱智勳先生一直受到媒體的廣泛報導，在韓國和在國外市場，他是眾所周知的，並獲得許多人的支持與喜歡。

但是，毫無疑問，這些激動 或虛假描述他的行為的報導,不僅造成了他以私人公民和他的家人巨大的痛苦，，而且還嚴重和不公平地損害他的名聲和作為一個在國內和海外的職業演員身份。
毫無疑問，在今後很長的一段時間裡,朱智勳先生將不得不生活在這些嚴厲的懲罰之中。
4. Mr. Ju is a hardworking man and a loving and caring grandson, son and brother to his family. He has over the years shouldered much of the financial responsibility for his large family of four elderly grandparents, parents, and a younger sister. Stripping him of the opportunity to be a productive citizen for an extended period of time will likely plunge those who depend on him into dire economic hardship.
4 。朱智勳先生是一個勤奮的人，對他的家人來說,他也是一個充滿愛和關懷的孫子，兒子和哥哥。他多年來一直承擔一個擁有四位老人長者-祖父母/父母親,和一位年幼的妹妹的大型家庭中,大部分的經濟負擔。剝奪他成為一位富有生產能力公民的機會,在很長的一段時間內,可能會讓那些依靠他的人,陷入經濟困難的困境中。
We do not condone the use of illegal drugs but believe that the above considerations fully justify maximum leniency and a sentence without imprisonment. We appeal to you to weigh these considerations in reaching a fair and just decision.
我們不寬恕使用違禁藥物，但相信上述充分的證明或許可以獲得最大的從寬處理與沒有入獄服刑的判決。我們呼籲你權衡這些因素,並達成一項公平和公正的決定。
